Sound familiar?

Comp has a way of running the shop

Most owners didn't get into business to manage claims and audits. If any of this is on your desk right now, it's worth a conversation.

Your mod keeps climbing

A few bad claims turn into years of higher premiums. Nobody's working the problem — so the premium just becomes the price of doing business.

Claims sit on your desk

Every injury pulls you or your office manager into paperwork, phone calls, and follow-up — hours that come straight out of running the company.

Audits & renewals are a scramble

Premium audits, certificates for customers, renewal season — each one lands as a fire drill because no one owns it full-time.

Services

Three lines of coverage. One call.

Everything is placed through an independent brokerage — we're not tied to one carrier, so the recommendation is the fit, not the quota. And every line is available à la carte: take one, two, or all three. Nothing is bundled, and nothing has to be bought as a package.

Ohio employers

Built for a monopolistic state

Ohio is one of the few states where workers' comp runs through a state fund — the BWC — instead of private carriers. Most national offerings aren't built for that. The one we bring Ohio employers is — a workers' comp solution designed to streamline and optimize the management of Ohio workers' compensation, inside the system you already have.

Your BWC policy stays in placeYour policy remains active and your identity intact for historical purposes — and the $120 annual renewal fee that keeps it active is covered.
Claims stop hitting your ratingFuture claim activity no longer impacts your BWC experience rating, so one bad injury stops following you for years.
Claims cost and liability — handledThe arrangement assumes 100% of the liability and cost of claims — medical and indemnity payments, attorney fees, and IMEs — with no cost to you for claims defense and management.
Billed on actual payrollNo more prospective quarterly estimates — billing is based on your actual payroll, period by period.
Modified duty, even off-siteModified duty is a key part of how claims get resolved. If you can't accommodate light duty at your location, we find it through our partners.
Your Group Retro rebates stay yoursLeaving a Group Retro program doesn't forfeit rebates you've already earned — you remain eligible for what's awarded.

How it works

Straightforward, start to finish

No pressure and no jargon. Most owners know within one conversation whether this is worth pursuing.

1

The review

We look at where you stand — your comp history, your experience mod, your current benefits, and what's eating your time. Free, and it stays useful even if we never work together.

2

The plan

You get a plain-English proposal: what changes, what it costs, and what stays the same. Your crew stays your crew — hiring, schedules, and day-to-day direction remain yours.

3

We handle it

Comp, claims, safety, and benefits administration move off your desk. You get one person to call — the same person who set it up — at renewal time and every day in between.

Who we serve

Built for employers with real crews

We work best with companies of 50 or more employees on fully insured health plans — especially blue- and gray-collar operations where workers' comp is real money and real headaches.

You're likely a fit if…

  • You have 50+ employees and comp is a real budget line
  • Claims are pushing your experience mod — and premium — up
  • Manufacturing, logistics, construction, food processing, or similar hands-on work
  • Comp paperwork lands on you or your office manager
  • You're tired of juggling separate vendors for comp and benefits

Probably not a fit if…

  • You have fewer than 50 employees — we're built for groups of 50+
  • You're only shopping for the cheapest sticker price this year
  • You want a self-funded health plan — our group health is fully insured

Why an independent broker

On your side of the table

A captive agent sells one company's products. An independent broker works for you.

Choice, not a script

We shop multiple carriers and partners and bring you the options actually worth considering — with the trade-offs explained.

Plain English

You'll understand what you're buying, what it covers, and what it doesn't — before you sign anything. If we can't explain it simply, we don't sell it.

Still here after the sale

Claims, renewals, a certificate a customer needs by Friday — you call us, not a 1-800 number. The relationship is the product.

Questions

What owners usually ask

Straight answers to the questions that come up in almost every first conversation.

What is co-employment, in plain terms?
Your employees keep working for you — same crew, same supervisors, same jobs. Under a co-employment (AEO) arrangement, a partner organization takes on the workers' comp coverage and the administrative weight around it: claims management, safety support, certificates, and audits. You keep running your business; the comp burden moves to people who do it full-time.
Our experience mod is high. Can you still help?
Usually, yes — that's the most common situation we walk into. A high mod means claims haven't been managed tightly. Active claims management and real safety support are how a mod comes back down over time, and that's the core of what the co-employment model does.
What size company do you work with?
Employers with 50 or more employees, with no upper limit. If you're a bit under 50 but growing, it's still worth a conversation — but the solutions we broker are built for groups of 50+.
What does the review cost?
Nothing. The review and proposal are free, and there's no obligation. As a broker, we're compensated by the carriers and partners you choose to work with — we'll walk you through exactly how that works before you sign anything.
Which states do you cover?
Workers' compensation in 47 states — everywhere except Washington, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Group health and group life in all 50 states.
We're in Ohio, where comp runs through the BWC. How does this work for us?
Ohio's state-fund system is exactly what this solution was built for. You file a true-up report with the BWC for the current policy period, and your policy stays active — the $120 annual renewal fee is covered. From there, future claim activity no longer impacts your BWC experience rating, claims are managed for you, and you're billed on actual payroll instead of prospective quarterly estimates. If you're in a Group Retro program, you stay eligible for any rebates you've already earned.
Do we have to move everything at once?
No — every service is à la carte, not a bundle. Many clients start with workers' comp alone and add group health or life at the next renewal, or keep their current benefits broker and use us for comp only. We'll map out the timing that disrupts your operation the least.
